Being socially responsible is imperative for all organizations today. Society Arteria is a voluntary initiative that lends a helping hand to our society supporting a wide range of socio-economic, educational and health initiatives and being proactive in improving the environment.

Activities
The Society Arteria team provides financial assistance for aids and appliances, scholarships, pension to the needy, physically and socially deprived people and arranges regular trips to old age homes and orphanages. This team mainly focuses on social responsibilities like blood donation, tree plantation, creating awareness in rural areas. The team also helps in personality development of employees like arranging for yoga and meditation classes, counseling and arranging awareness programs.

List of Activities Done by Society Arteria

• Financial support given for tumor operation for a 4-year-old girl named Pooja in St.John’s medical college hospital.
• Financial support given for embolization treatment for a 16 year old girl named Revathi in Ramachandra hospital.
• Financial support to Sree saradha sevashram (Ashram for poor and orphan children) every month for their provisions.
• Donated bed sheets, cloths and medicines to Karunashreya(A charitable trust for terminally ill cancer patients)
• Blood Donation Programmes
  The team enthusiastically participated in donating blood in Blood Donation Camp conducted by SanKalp India Foundation on 9th January 2008 in ITPL. The team has also helped in donating Blood for an open heart surgery patient in Narayana Hrudhayalaya on 12th July 2008.
• Tree Plantation Programmes
  Trees are essential to restore soil fertility and to battle against global warming. We have sponsored and planted fifteen trees in Tropical paradise near Hosur road on 26th January 2008. Our volunteers have planted twenty trees jointly with Trees for free.org in Syndicate bank colony near Bannerghatta Road on 20th July 2008. Our volunteers have planted nearly 150 saplings along with Trees for free.org team in Gunjur village near Sarjapura on 8th August 2008.
• Yoga and Meditation
  We have arranged a yoga and meditation class in our office for our employees self improvement on 15th march 2008.
